How to Use Your ZA Jewellers Mould Kit

We’ve made it simple for you to capture the perfect impression of your teeth. Just follow these steps and your grillz will be crafted for a flawless fit:

Step 1: Prepare the Kit

Open your ZA Jewellers mould kit. Inside, you’ll find everything you need: putty, trays, and clear instructions. Wash your hands and make sure your mouth is clean before starting.

Step 2: Mix the Putty

Take the two pieces of putty (one white, one coloured) and knead them together quickly until the colour is completely blended. This should take about 30 seconds.

Step 3: Fill the Tray

Roll the mixed putty into a sausage shape and place it evenly inside the impression tray. Make sure the putty covers the tray fully, leaving no gaps.

Step 4: Take the Impression

Place the tray over your teeth and press firmly. Hold it in place for about 2–3 minutes without moving. This allows the putty to set and capture your exact teeth shape.

Step 5: Remove and Check

Gently remove the tray from your mouth. Check to make sure your teeth impression is clear and visible. If not, you may need to repeat the process with the extra putty provided.

Step 6: Send It Back

Place the impression back into the protective case provided and send it back to ZA Jewellers using the return instructions included in your kit. Once we receive it, we’ll start crafting your custom grillz.

  • Do not eat or drink 30 minutes before taking your mould.

  • Keep still while holding the tray in place.
